This fall, ARCA is going on a road trip — as a sponsor of the Bank Innovators Road Show.   Our goal is to collaborate with financial institutions all over the country, jumpstarting the innovation conversation.    We see the Road Show as a safe environment where ideas can flow, questions can be asked, and certainties can be challenged.  Basically, it’s an innovation incubator for the banking industry.

But what does innovation really mean? Is it process oriented, such as perfecting the assembly line, a la Henry Ford?   Or maybe, it’s changing the way a generation listened to music, such as Sony’s rollout of the Walkman in 1980.  Innovation is not something that can be easily wrapped up into a neat little package.  It’s a feeling.  A gut-check.  It’s transformative.  It’s really an abstract concept that changes depending on your perspective.

Finding and nurturing that feeling is why we are excited to be a part of the Road Show.  We are lucky enough to be working with some great people and progressive organizations that share the same passion as us.    Helping to facilitate the conversation will be Dr. Jay van Zyl, author of Built to Thrive: Making Your Mark in a Connected World, and JP Nicols, a leading voice for innovation, strategy and leadership in financial services.  The first stop on the tour will be September 3rd in Birmingham, Alabama.   Click a city below to get your tickets today.
