Cryptera EPP 1218

The Cryptera EPP 1218 Encrypting PIN Pad (EPP) offers manufacturers and integrators a secure 3DES-compliant input device.

Engineered for use in self-service kiosks, ATMs and self-payment gas pumps, the ruggedized design of the EPP 1218 is withstands heavy usage while complying with payment security standards. The unit has a lifespan of more than two million cycles, and features a watertight polymer enclosure that houses color-etched stainless steel keys.

The EPP 1218 features an ADA-compliant, Braille equipped keyboard. The EPP 1218 also supports Remote Key Loading from Cryptera, giving customers an open-standard, flexible on-line key loading solution that is more secure and cost-effective than traditional dual-control split knowledge key installation and maintenance.
