MELBANE, NC – Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union, Florida’s largest credit union, announces cash dispenser upgrades. The credit union has entered a new relationship and installed the ARCA CM18 in 13 of its 53 branches, with additional cash dispenser upgrades to be made in 2013.
The CM18 is the newest cash recycler by ARCA, and is noted for its design, which eliminates exposed cash drawers, a benefit for branch tellers.
“By upgrading our cash dispensers, we are able to provide our members with the quality service and attention they deserve. This upgrade allows us to focus more on serving our members instead of counting, banding and denominating cash,” says JoAnn Allen, teller operations manager at Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union.
Andrew Rowe, ARCA project director, worked closely with Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union to make sure that they had the right solution to meet their needs. The choice of the ARCA CM18s was made, according to Allen, because of “ease of use, reduced teller outages, reduced time spent balancing teller drawers, and the ability to use up to 12 cassettes.”
The ARCA CM18 cash recycler is designed as a flexible solution that works very well in high or low cash volume branches. The recycler automatically counts, authenticates and secures cash deposited. The same cash becomes immediately available for withdrawals, eliminating the need for tellers to manually process cash. This technology provides the branch with reduced transaction times, improved teller accuracy, increased security and more efficient control over their cash inventory.
