Fox Communities Credit Union Expands its Investment in Cash Automation

Five ARCA CM18s slated for three of their locations

MEBANE, NC (March 12, 2013) – Several years ago, Fox Communities Credit Union in Wisconsin replaced one of its branch teller lines with “pods” — freestanding stations that let members stand beside tellers during transactions. To guarantee the accessibility and security of cash at each pod, the institution installed the ARCA8000 Teller Cash Recycler from ARCA.

Thanks to the success of the experience, Fox Communities Credit Union has decided to further invest in cash automation. Today, it has installed or plans to install cash recyclers in three more locations in the greater Green Bay and Fox Cities areas.

“We love our recyclers because they don’t just keep us secure — they streamline cash flow so we can focus on the member experience,” said Lisa Hanna, one of the credit union’s branch managers. “Tellers can buy and sell cash at any time and the machines only need to be loaded once or twice a week.”

In addition to the ARCA8000, the institution is also installing several CM18s — a recycler from ARCA known for its small footprint and user-friendly interface.

“The ARCA recyclers were absolutely the right choice for us,” said Hanna. “I’m so thankful we have them and I’m excited that other branches are benefiting from them, too.”
