MEBANE, NC (October 15, 2013) – Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union announces an ARCA CM18 cash recycler upgrade to its mobile branch.
The ARCA CM18 cash recycler automatically counts, authenticates and safeguards cash deposited by tellers. This advanced technology eliminates the need for tellers to count cash at the teller line and at the vault, which typically takes two to three hours of a teller’s time per day. This technology improves teller accuracy, reduces member wait times and lowers staffing requirements.
One of the primary reasons the credit union upgraded to a cash recycler in the mobile branch was to better serve members who wanted to deposit or open accounts with cash. The mobile unit is used for disaster recovery, visits to select employee groups, school visits and community events.
“Upgrading to the new cash recycler has allowed our team to provide the same level of service that members expect at a branch, but at our mobile branch,” said JoAnn Allen, teller operations manager at Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union.
