ARCA named one of the 50 Fastest Growing Companies in the Triad

The Triad Business Journal honors ARCA at ceremony

MEBANE, N.C. – ARCA, a global leader in financial transaction automation, came in at number three on the Triad Business Journal’s Fast 50 list, underscoring the company’s phenomenal growth, visionary leadership and ability to adapt to a rapidly changing technological landscape.

The award recognizes top performing, privately held companies in the Triad region of North Carolina. This is the 15^th year the award has been presented and is the second straight year that ARCA has been named to the list. The honor was announced at a gala event hosted by the Carolina Theatre in Greensboro.

In order to be recognized, a company needs to meet the following criteria:

• Must be a private, for-profit venture,
• Must be headquartered in the Triad, and
• Must have completed three full fiscal years and had sales in excess of $2 million in the year previous.

The rankings are based on a formula that factors in the dollar and percentage change in revenues during a three-year period between 2011 and 2013. Accounting firm Smith Leonard oversees the process.

By automating transactional processes at banks, retail locations and self-service kiosks, ARCA’s technology brings efficiency to businesses and people everywhere. In the past three years, ARCA has experienced tremendous revenue growth and has more than doubled the number of employees at its global headquarters in Mebane.
