Mebane, NC (April 9, 2013) – ARCA, a leading supplier of transaction automation components in the financial, retail and self-service industries, announced today the hiring of Anthony Henry to the newly created position of Lean Change Agent. Henry brings to ARCA over 20 years of experience in the manufacturing and technology fields.
“Anthony’s years of experience in lean manufacturing is a great fit for ARCA, as we continue to evolve to meet the increased demand for cash automation,” said ARCA CEO Mort O’Sullivan.
Henry joins the ARCA team after working at Flextronics, a global leader in design, manufacturing, distribution and aftermarket services. With ARCA, Henry will be responsible for developing and implementing the Lean manufacturing philosophy throughout the company.
“Lean is a journey that never ends,” Henry said. “One day you’ll wake up and it’ll be a part of your culture. It doesn’t happen overnight, it’s continual. Success is when Lean becomes a part of the ARCA culture. That’s success for me.”
