Eric Teague Joins ARCA as Chief Financial Officer
Brings 18+ years of experience developing rapid-growth technology companies
MEBANE, NC (October 28, 2014)—ARCA, a global leader in cash automation and payment technologies, today announced the hiring of Eric Teague as Chief Financial Officer. Teague will be responsible for ARCA’s global financial operations, strategy and investor relations.
“Eric brings tremendous value to ARCA and is a key component to the future growth of our company,” Mort O’Sullivan, ARCA’s founder and CEO, said. “He has a wealth of experience navigating complex corporate finance on a global scale and has a keen strategic focus that will help us to continue to build our momentum.”
Teague brings to ARCA extensive experience in international business expansion, high-growth strategies, mergers and acquisitions and private equity funding.
“Doing business in over 50 countries, ARCA represents a unique opportunity to leverage my global roots,” Teague said. “I’m thrilled to be a part of such a great team and to be in a position to develop creative strategies to aggressively drive growth.”
Teague launched his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Greensboro audit practice, but quickly grew to prestigious roles with the Global Capital Markets and the Structuring Practices in Europe and NYC. He served as a global advisor to major domestic and international corporations, and private equity firms on public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and structured investments.
In 2001, Teague left PwC and established TeagueRossCapital, an Eastern North Carolina-based private equity firm. Three years later, Teague co-founded and served as CEO of Wavelength Corporation, a technology firm specializing in the provision of broadband, wireless and video solutions. Under his leadership, the company achieved 100% year-over-year revenue growth and reached customers in 38 states. Wavelength was acquired by Illinois-based Pavlov Media Corporation in 2010 where Teague worked as Chief Business Development Officer until his departure in 2011. Since leaving Pavlov Media, Teague has worked as a C-level advisor and angel investor in the Research Triangle Park, providing strategic leadership counsel to high-potential technology and life science ventures.
Teague is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BS in accounting from North Carolina State University. He currently lives in Raleigh with his wife and three children.
