ArcaTech Names Nelson and Mares to New Positions

MEBANE, N.C. – ArcaTech Systems has announced the advancement of two employees: Mike Mares and Kirk Nelson. Mares has been promoted to associate vice president, Financial Systems. Nelson has been promoted to associate vice president, OEM Solutions.

In his new role, Mares will help guide ArcaTech to continued growth as the leader in cash automation technology. Mares is a driving force for the adoption of process changes that overcome cash-handling inefficiencies to increase revenue at the teller line. In his new position, Nelson will manage the growth of ArcaTech’s OEM Solutions business unit in the Americas, which provides the cash automation components that power hundreds of self-service products around the globe.

“Kirk and Mike have been part of the ArcaTech team for years and they’ve been key contributors to our rapid growth as a company,” said Mort O’Sullivan, president of ArcaTech. “In their new roles, they’ll be taking on additional responsibilities but continuing to do what they do best: providing our customers with the products and service that reduce operating costs and improve profitability.”

Mares is a resident of Phoenix, Ariz., and has been with ArcaTech since 2004. Nelson is a resident of Mebane and has been with the company since 2001.
