ARCA strengthens retail, cash-in-transit experience with new executive hire
MEBANE, NC (February, 18 2016)—ARCA, a global leader in cash automation and payment technologies, announced the addition of Henry Zanzer as Directeur Général (Managing Director) of TRAIDIS, its newly acquired cash and coin processing system manufacturer based in France. With this new hire, ARCA dynamically pairs Zanzer’s experience and expertise leveraging global capacity with the established success of TRAIDIS to strengthen its capabilities in the retail marketplace.
“Henry is a passionate leader whose extensive global experience in managing strategic business and technology projects will play a key role in ARCA’s growth in France” said Mort O’Sullivan, ARCA’s founder and CEO. “His record of delivering innovative solutions for large-scale global organizations and his expertise in cash logistics and cash technology emphasizes ARCA’s commitment to the retail market in France.”
Zanzer will be focused on expanding products, market reach and research and development efforts at TRAIDIS using his 27 years of global experience in information technology, global logistics, cash management and security services.
“I’m very privileged to simultaneously join two unique companies, ARCA and TRAIDIS," said Zanzer. "I look forward to the incredible challenge of leveraging and developing the existing TRAIDIS market position and supporting our valued customers, in France and around the globe with an expanded product portfolio. I’m proud to be part of this ever-growing, successful organization."
From the beginning of his career at the World Diamond Center in Antwerp, Belgium, Zanzer has been focused on innovation, technology and customer service. When it became an affiliate of the Brinks Company, Zanzer was integral to efforts to expand Brinks into global markets. In 1998, he became CIO of the newly formed Brinks Global Services (BGS) division. Huge successes in the BGS division led to executive positions as Regional CIO for the EMEA Region, then CEO of Brinks Russia (the first foreign Security Executive in Russia), significantly growing the business and revenues in both roles.
In 2011, Zanzer returned to the Global IT side of Brinks, relocating to Dallas, Texas as VP Global IT Solutions. There he managed the global IT application portfolio, partnerships and strategic initiatives across 25 countries. Zanzer joined Loomis Armored USA in 2013 to support the global and strategic expansion of the Loomis Group. He created a new line of business in the United States and consulted the Loomis Group in the setup of the newly formed Global Secure Logistics business.
After leaving Loomis in 2014, Zanzer established a private consulting practice, Janus Global, Inc. to provide leadership on various security and technology projects and organize workshops on the same subject.
Zanzer graduated from College of Antwerp B.Sc. Management Information Systems and is a Certified Lean Practitioner and an IATA Agent. He is a veteran of the Belgian Armed Forces (NATO – Artillery), having served in active duty and being a member of the Belgian Army Reserves for 16 years and is fluent in 4 languages (English, French, Dutch and Russian).
